Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper Co., Ltd. added new momentum to its growth with the successful start-up and first paper roll produced by its No. 4 modern tissue paper machine. The newly commissioned machine is a crescent former supplied by Xi'an Weiya, featuring a trim width of 2,850 mm and a design speed of 1,500 m/min.
The successful commissioning of the No. 4 paper machine marks the full realization of Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper's production capacity expansion. With its intelligent and large-scale manufacturing system now fully established, the company has reached a new level of overall competitiveness. Going forward, Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper will leverage its newly installed production line to maintain stringent quality control, improve production efficiency, fully capitalize on the advantages of large-scale manufacturing, and continue to strengthen its presence in the tissue paper sector, contributing to the high-quality development and efficiency enhancement of the regional papermaking industry.
Located in the Guigang Guangdong–Guangxi Industrial Park, Zhongsheng Paper is developing a project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes of premium tissue paper and supporting converting facilities. The project occupies an area of approximately 100 mu (about 6.7 hectares) and is being implemented in two phases. Upon completion, it will comprise four tissue parent reel production lines together with corresponding facial tissue converting lines for soft-pack products. Once fully operational, the project is expected to produce 50,000 tonnes of premium tissue paper annually, generate an annual output value of approximately RMB 450 million, and create more than 100 jobs.
