Leading Chinese papermaker Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Ltd. (02314.HK) issued a positive profit alert after market close on 20 July 2026, forecasting that profit for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will reach approximately HK$1.33 billion to HK$1.39 billion, representing a substantial 64%–71% increase compared with HK$811 million in the corresponding period last year.
Guangxi Zhongsheng Paper Co., Ltd. added new momentum to its growth with the successful start-up and first paper roll produced by its No. 4 modern tissue paper machine. The newly commissioned machine is a crescent former supplied by Xi'an Weiya, featuring a trim width of 2,850 mm and a design speed of 1,500 m/min.

Sun Paper (SZSE: 002078) announced that it plans to invest, through its wholly owned subsidiary Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd., in a capacity enhancement and efficiency improvement project for an integrated forestry–pulp–paper complex in Nanning, Guangxi, with a total investment of no more than RMB 5 billion.
Minhan Paper Joint Stock Company has placed an order with ANDRITZ to supply a complete old corrugated containers (OCC) recycling line for its mill in Hung Yen province, Vietnam. This marks the company's second OCC line from ANDRITZ and supports Minhan Paper's ongoing expansion in packaging paper production. Start-up is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
As July begins, China's paper industry has entered a new round of widespread price increases.
